About the car
The Mercedes-AMG F1 W17 E Performance, commonly known as the Mercedes W17, is a Formula One racing car designed and built by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team to compete in the 2026 Formula One World Championship. It is currently being driven by George Russell and Kimi Antonelli in their fifth and second seasons with the team, respectively. Antonelli achieved his maiden win with the car at the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix.
As of the 2026 United States Grand Prix, the W17 has scored 12 wins (plus four sprint wins), 23 podiums (plus five sprint podiums), 12 pole positions (plus three sprint pole positions) and nine fastest laps (plus two sprint fastest laps).
